Riesling 2005

Palish straw yellow colour.  Fragrant nose showing slight development.  Lemon curd, slight honey (the honey of development, not oxidation).  Moderate to good depth of fruit on the palate.  Relatively soft, with moderate acidity, slight sweetness and with a light phenolic grip.  A pleasant Riesling that is beginning to lose primary fruit and develop.

Chardonnay 2003

Pale-medium yellow.  Intense nose with very fine varietal melon characters, complexity and excellent oak integration.  Medium bodied, stylish palate.  Very fine balance with tight structure and intense flavour, the oak a little more apparent.  Moderate acidity and very good length.  Relatively undeveloped and still fresh.  A very high quality Chardonnay with oak and other complexities matching the fruit very well.  Typical cool region finesse, tightness and slow development.

Rose 2007

Fragrant nose of fresh red berries and violets.  Although this rosé is dry the early palate shows sweet ripe red berry fruit leading to a crisp intense mid palate with very light tannin and a long dry finish.  A complex and developed savoury spice nose with a background of cherry and red fruit.  The elegant palate is savoury and spicy with good red currant acid balanced by inviting tannins. There is very little residual sugar in this wine the sweetness up front is primarily the result of ripe fruit.
